"The Mystery of the Purple Stapler"

Things were going well this morning, until Mrs. Adams came in with a very upset look on her face!  She reported her favorite purple, sparkly stapler missing.  Now, if you are a teacher, you know how hard it is to come by a good stapler, let alone one as beautiful as this one.

Naturally, Lily piped in that we were trained detectives and we all agreed to take the case.  But where would we begin?

First, we surveyed the crime scene.  We even dusted for fingerprints, but couldn't get a print strong enough to compare to other prints.  Luckily for us, the criminal had left a note.  It didn't take long for us to compare alibis and handwriting samples to narrow it down.

We then served Mr. Currey and Mrs. Varis with search warrants and we split up to try and recover the missing item.  After a long search, we came up empty handed.  It was back to the drawing board.

After we compared the evidence again, we decided that Mrs. Varis had more evidence stacked against her and we brought her in for questioning.  Eventually, she came clean and the mystery was solved!

Make sure to check in with your in-home detective to get the juicy details, clues and extended suspect list!
